Photo Dynamic Therapy
Photodynamic Therapy (PDT) is an effective and convenient treatment for sun damage, solar keratoses and some skin cancers. Photodynamic Therapy is a two step treatment utilising the application of a photosensitising agent and LED Light therapy to activate an immune response within the skin. It is an effective treatment for people with multiple solar keratoses, skin cancers or larger areas of sun damage where surgery is not appropriate.
For this treatment to be performed, a skin check is required. Your go or skin check doctor may decide that Photodynamic Therapy is a suitable treatment option for you personally. Photodynamic Therapy can then be performed here at Skinware.
If you have been recommended Photodynamic Therapy, fell free to contact Karlee for further information on what to expect pre/post treatment and pricing. Our online booking portal has a PDT consultation option if you would prefer to have an in person consultation regarding your treatment.
