Medi Facials
At Skinware we offer a range of medi-facials tailored to your concerns.
Chemical Peels
At Skinware we offer a range of chemical peels suitable for all skin types and concerns. Chemical peels can help to exfoliate the skin, increase hydration, reduce pigmentation, reduce congestion and promote collagen and elastin production.
Dermaplaning
Dermaplaning is a non invasive treatment that gently exfoliates the skin while removing fine vellus hair, that we often refer to as 'peach fuzz'. There is no downtime with dermaplaning and can be combined with other services like chemical peels and LED's.

Perfect as a pre event treatment or if you are just after a freshen up, our Skinware Glow's are perfect for everyone. 30-60 minutes of relaxation. Incorporating the use of the beautiful O-Rejuv Devices, this is your time to lay down, relax and leave your skin in the best hands possible.

How many sessions do I need?
We recommend anywhere from 3-6 sessions spaced around 4-6 weeks apart to see full results.
What is the downtime?
There is minimal to no downtime with our medi-facials. You may experience some erythema post treatment but this is normal and subsides within a few hours but may be present for up to 24-48 hours.
Are chemical peels safe?
Completely safe when done correctly on the right skin type. We don't believe in the hard and fast approach, rather strengthen your skin and slowly increase peel strengths over a number of sessions.
Aftercare
After a chemical peel you may experience some slight erythema or redness, this tends to subside quickly. Usually within 12-24 hours, but in some cases may last longer. Some cases may also experience some dryness or flaky skin in the days after a chemical peel, this will depends on your skins response to the peel and the strength/type that was used. These things are quite normal.
Some other key points to remeber include
· Avoid sun exposure and apply an SPF 30 or higher (We recommend O Cosmedics Mineral Pro)
· Avoid active skincare for 24hours (Vit A, Vit C, etc)
· Avoid exfoliants for 3-5 days
· Do not pick and dry or flaky skin
· Avoid other facial treatments for 5-7 days (including waxing)
· A cool compress is recommended for persistant erythema
